KISS Nail Dress

Influenster sent me the Kiss Nail Dress and I LOVE them!  They were super easy to put on, and they looked like a really well-done manicure!  I wore them during the Christmas season when we saw, I believe, a MILLION people!  I got a compliment from EVERY SINGLE person who saw them!  I was able to get a lot of mileage out of them because every nail sticker fit on two fingers!  I was able to neatly file them down, and they stayed on for about 5 days!  I was very impressed with this time-frame as I have 2 small children to take care of, and I usually have to redo my nails often when I paint them.  This was an easy and beautiful alternative to painting, with much better results!  I plan to purchase these for future special occasions, but seeing as they are so well-priced, I can also afford to get them for everyday use as well!

Hiding in Sunshine

I was given the distinct honor of reviewing the book, "Hiding in Sunshine" by Influenster!  They gave me the book complimentary, and I was so excited to read and review it!  "Hiding in Sunshine" is a thriller about cyber attacks to the US and how a family of four is involved and what they do to cope.  I will warn you, I was so afraid that what happened in the book might really happen in real life!  It didn't seem far-fetched, but rather something that could happen at any moment!  I wanted to hide all of my money under my mattress after reading!  Anyway, it was a very good book, really fun to read, and was thought-provoking to say the least!

NYC New York Color Review

So, as a member of Influenster, I got to try NYC New York Color Lipshine for free!    Influenster is a cool program that sends out VoxBoxes with a bunch of goodies for you to try in exchange for your honest feedback and sharing of your opinion.  I got the Holiday VoxBox and the NYC Lipshine in Nude York City was included. 

This lipshine is AWESOME!  I was hoping for a nude color, and the absolute perfect nude color arrived at my doorstep for me to try out!  I haven’t used anything else since!  It is perfect for day, perfect for night – it has been a great lipshine for all of the holiday gatherings and goings on this season.  I can wear it with any color, and it just really accents my features perfectly, if I do say so myself.

My hubby isn’t a big lipgloss lover (on me, if course) but this stuff is NOT sticky!  He also said there is no funny smell or taste to it, and I agree.

All in all, I LOVE the NYC Lipshine and plan on trying a few of the other colors – although I know the Nude York City will end up being my favorite.

So, as a member of Influenster, I got to try imPRESS Press-on Manicure nails for free!    Influenster is a cool program that sends out voxboxes with a bunch of goodies for you to try in exchange for your honest feedback and sharing of your opinion.  I got the Holiday VoxBox. 

Anyway, back to the imPRESS Press-on Manicure nails.  When I got them, my first thought was, “What?!”  They were Zebra print!  As our readers probably know, I am NOT a zebra kinda girl!  Anyway, since they came for me to try out – I gave them a shot. 

The package comes with a bunch of different nail sizes, so that took the longest amount of time.  I sifted through the nails and found the best matches for each of my nails.  Then you just stick ‘em on!  I have to admit, they looked a tad fake, but come on, they were zebra print – so of course they were fake!  But they still looked cute, and I wore black and white so as to minimize the zebra-ness of them. 

They lasted about as long as press-on nails are expected to last – no longer and no shorter.  All in all, I would definitely grab a pair for a fun night out where I don’t have time (or money!) to get a manicure!
